February 10, 2006It's All About The Beads!
A Note from the Studio
Hi all! Hope this newsletter finds you well :) This will be a quick note, as this week has been a little crazy! But -- I wanted to let you know about my newest set of beads, which are very fun :)

And -- if you scroll down to the last piece in the newsletter, you will see part of the project that took a lot of spare time over the last couple weeks!

Have a fabulous week, and I'll talk with you again soon!

On Ebay This Week : Lord Licorice
Inspired by the classic children's game -- Candyland! These beads feature some nice metallic highlights that resemble hematite -- and in fact would look great partnered with hematite beads or spacers! The shape is crunched, so will be very comfortable to wear.

Take me to the auction!

The Great Ring Project!
I was recently asked to provide 60+ unique, handmade beads for a women's retreat put on by my church. I was moved to accept the challenge -- and what tremendous fun it was!! The beads were used by the women to make rings, and they loved them! And, of course, it sparked many interesting conversations about lampworking :) It was also a great opportunity for me to try out a lot of different color combos and designs -- I've now got tons of ideas that I want to make into full sets.

Here is a picture of the beads -- I'll show you some of the ring samples next week!
